Awareness program on wildlife conservation organized by the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Forum
On December 7, 2024, the Nature & Biodiversity Conservation Forum held a public awareness leaflet distribution program and training workshop on nature, environment, and biodiversity protection in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. (Press Release from the Organization).
Today at 10 am, the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Forum conducted a leaflet distribution program near Padma Garden in Rajshahi to raise public awareness about creating safe habitats for all wildlife, including winter birds.
Then a training workshop was held at 11 am in the hall of the Padma Garden in Rajshahi city. Members and volunteers of the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Forum, along with individuals from various professions, attended the training workshop.
The training workshop, chaired by Professor Dr BK Dam, the President of the Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Forum, was attended by the organization’s Vice-Presidents Md Hasan Akhtar and Md Abdul Mottalib, Joint General Secretary Sudip Sarkar, Organizing Secretary Md. Fahad Iqbal, Treasurer Md. Ramzan Ali Sarkar and Executive Member Dr. Md. Monirul Haque.
The program was conducted by the founder and General Secretary of the organization, Engineer Junaid Ahmed.
The training emphasized the importance of trees and wildlife for environmental balance and explored ways to preserve them. The speakers emphasized that every animal requires a balanced natural environment for a healthy and fulfilling life.
If natural elements are harmed, the Earth’s balance will be disrupted, making it uninhabitable due to environmental disasters.
We all have a moral responsibility to use natural resources like plants, animals, forests, mountains, rivers, oceans, soil, water, and air wisely, maintaining their quality and preserving them for future generations.
