Bangladesh’s Environment Advisor calls for action to reduce e-waste
The doctrine of waste that is harmful to the environment is a full-fledged waste that is harmful to the environment. To reduce the incidence of e-waste, entrepreneurs should adopt responsible practices by creating sustainable electronic products.
Syeda Rizwana Hasan, a leading environmentalist and advisor in Bangladesh’s Interim Government, in charge of the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MOEFCC), Bangladesh and the Ministry of Water Resources (MOWR), Bangladesh, is active in the environment and climate change.
The environmental advisor encourages consumers to avoid tossing out electronic products too soon. The 2021 government waste control policy will be crucial for managing waste.
The environmental advisor spoke online at a seminar called ‘Formal E-Waste Management’ at a hotel on December 23.
Rizwana advised all parties to follow the environmental party by advising them to implement the e-waste control policy.
Rizwana Hasan highlighted the promotion of the recycling industry and the need for a government-controlled e-waste development force that involves the private sector and citizens.
The special representative at the seminar was Major General (Ret.) Md Emda Ulbari, member of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BRTC).
Professor Md Shahinur Islam from the Chemical Engineering Department at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) delivered the primary presentation.
