Human chains and skating rallies were held in Dhaka to protest the honking of hydraulic horns on vehicles
Today, August 11, 2023, a human chain and skating rally was held in Dhaka to protest against using hydraulic horns in vehicles. Ariz Foundation organized the rally with “Search Skating Club, Dhaka.”
The rally started at Shahbagh, circling various roads with colorful banners and festoons bearing the text banning the use of hydraulic horns in vehicles.
On the eve of the rally’s start, the rally organizers highlighted the harmful aspects of hydraulic horns in c/w noise pollution. They demanded an immediate ban on hydraulic horns in vehicles to prevent noise pollution.
The rally was concluded with a vote of thanks to the participating cyclists and entertainment.
