Local Government Division of Bangladesh, ordered its subordinate organs to plant trees across the country

People’s lives have become miserable in the intense heat. After a slight decrease in the temperature in two days, the temperature is increasing again. Meteorologists have said that the temperature will continue to rise for the next few days.

The local government Division of Bangladesh has instructed planting trees nationwide to prevent extreme heat and safeguard the environment from the impact of climate change. In particular, all city corporations and municipal areas have been asked to plant trees.

The local government department sent a letter to the CEOs of all city corporations and the mayors of the municipalities with an instruction.

To protect the environment and address climate change, it is important to plant trees all across the country, especially in urban areas, and to ensure proper care and preservation of these trees.

For the past few days, a heat wave has been sweeping across most parts of the country. This heatwave has become very intense in some places.

On April 30, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 43.8 degrees Celsius in Jashore, and the daytime temperature in Dhaka also crossed 40 degrees Celsius.
