Raise environmental and health awareness to be aware of lead poisoning

An innovative drawing competition by child artists was held highlighting the important role of art in raising awareness about the health and environmental risks associated with lead pollution.
(ESDO) organized the event on December 27, 2023, in collaboration with Bangladesh Shishu Academy. Director General of Bangladesh Shishu Academy Anjir Liton said these things at the event.
He appreciated ESDO’s initiative to create environmental and health awareness among children through a drawing competition during the International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week.
Children showcase their artistic skills and expressions on how they can live in a pollution-free world and build a lead-free future. Children express their views on prevention of lead poisoning in drawing competition.
Syed Margub Morshed, Chairperson of ESDO, presided over the event. He emphasized the collective efforts to prevent lead poisoning and create a safer environment for future generations.
Shahriar Hossain, Secretary General of ESDO, said, “Lead toxicity is a threat to the health of our children. Lead poisoning must be stopped, so that every child can enjoy a beautiful and healthy life.”
