Precautionary measures need to be taken to prevent mosquitoes outbreaks: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina
Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina attended a video conference with the ministers, divisional commissioners, and administrators of 64 districts of Bangladesh from the Ganabhaban (Prime Minister’s Official residence) on 01 April 2020 about combatting the coronavirus.
At that Video conference, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also commented being annoyed that mosquitoes are practicing music to the ears.
She cautioned that after the Corona crisis, the dengue crisis will be started and told the Mayor Atiqul Islam of Dhaka North City Corporation that it will have appropriate action before the season comes.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “The outbreak of mosquitoes will start slowly and then the dengue will come.
We must take special precautions so that mosquitoes do not have breeding grounds so that mosquitoes do not get a chance to lay eggs.”
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged the public representatives and government officials to take necessary steps in this regard from now.
Finally, she said, “Cleanliness should be there so that mosquitoes or dengue cannot come. Houses, roads, and reservoirs should be kept clean.”
