Two people were convicted of selling banned polythene in Bhaluka

Two people have been convicted of selling banned polythene in a mobile court expedition in Bhaluka, Mymensingh. Masud Kamal, the Executive Magistrate (UNO) of the mobile court, gave the punishment on 1 February.

It is learned that according to the Environment Act (1995), for selling banned polythene in Seedstore Bazar of the Upazila, Abdul Baten (55) of the Habirbari area was convicted for a month and Yasin Ali (25) of Goforgaon Upazila for fifteen days.

Executive Magistrate (UNO) Masud Kamal said that the campaign against banned polythene, which is harmful to the environment, will be continued.
