German companies are comparatively more eco-friendly
Many German companies have been recognized as more eco-friendly among the various companies in different countries of the world. The information came from the result of a recent survey of a non-profit project in London.
The information came out from the results of a recent annual survey of the Carbon Disclosure Project in London were released earlier this year in 2021. In the result, there are 19 such companies in Germany that use water or wood to protect the environment and got top grade or A as environmentally friendly.
The companies included the chain companies Metro and Alejandro, technology company Bosch, chemical company BASF and steel company ThyssenKrupp.
On the other hand, 1 out of 18 companies in France got top grade or A. The survey is evaluated on the basis of information provided by the companies Carbon Disclosure Projects through questionnaires.
The survey was conducted to find out the environmental awareness of the shareholders and the public. According to the survey, Germany’s performance has improved by 90 percent compared to previous years.
Only 5% organizations achieved the top grade in the survey out of more than 5800 participating organizations worldwide. Of these, more than 40% are European companies and 20% are U.S. companies. About ¾ of the companies participated in the survey received a C or D grade.
