Nepal Floods and Landslides caused a 40-death toll

Heavy rains have killed at least 40 people, including several children, in Nepal due to heavy rainfall caused flooding and landslides. Many more are missing.
The country’s interior ministry has confirmed the news, News from PTI.
Seven people, including three children, have been killed in multiple landslides in central Nepal’s Kaski district. Five people died when a landslide hit a house in the Sarankat area of the district during heavy rains on Friday. About ten more people injured in the incident.
They have admitted to different hospitals.
Three members of the same family were killed in a landslide in Besishahar area of Lamjung district on Thursday night. On the same night, two more people died in a landslide in the Athbiskat area of Rakum district. Twenty people died, and 13 injured in the Mayagdi district.
Seven people, including a 10-year-old child, have been killed in a landslide in Jariakat district. Another 12 people are missing.
Landslides have also reported in western Nepal. Many houses have damaged. The country’s rivers are overflowing with 48 hours of continuous rain and caused flooding in the country’s north-western region.
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon rains may continue for another three days.
