Recycling and reusing of clothes will save the environment

Recycling and reusing of clothes will save the environment

In this era of fast fashion, it is very popular to buy new clothes.  We buy clothes we want and throw them away for no reason. But no one thinks about the negative impact our such practices have on the environment. Fashion industry is very polluting due to the use of raw materials, overproduction, and large amounts of waste.

Moreover, climate change has now become a global problem. As one of the largest sectors to reduce environmental pollution, the garment industry also has a responsibility.

Instead of only wearing clothes a few times and then storing them in the closet, we can reuse or recycle them in various ways. If we don’t want to reuse any cloth more, we can give those to the poor or those who eagerly to reusing it.

In this way we can help the poor as well as create a way to decrease the environment pollution.  Because, if garments are recycled or reused, the demand for new garments will decrease.

This will result in a decrease in the production of garments, which will reduce environmental pollution caused by this sector.

In a word, recycling is a process by which new products are obtained from already used materials. Our native sarees, salwar-kameez, punjabi, fatwa, shirts, frocks are all recyclable and reusable garments.

The world’s main consumer countries, including Europe, are currently focusing on sustainable clothing to protect the environment. In the fashion industry, there is a demand for clothes that can be worn again and again.

Many fashion brands are now giving importance to slow fashion as opposed to fast fashion. The principle of this fashion is to create clothes that are environmentally friendly and sustainable and can be recycled.

The advantage of recycled clothing is that it encourages creativity and originality in fashion. You yourself can contribute to making reusable clothes.

For example, if you have a pair of denim jeans at home, you can change them into other clothes by cutting them off after use.
