Sheikh Hasina’s Environment Protection Initiative Praised Worldwide

AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Agriculturist and Joint General Secretary, Bangladesh Awami League, said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s initiative to protect the environment is now appreciated all over the world.”
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has shown impossible success in greening the country, besides ensuring food self-sufficiency by uniting the people of the country. Bangladesh is moving forward under her skilled leadership by successfully dealing with all the natural calamities.
Bahauddin Nasim said Bangabandhu realized earlier that there is no alternative to self-preparation to protect the country and its people from the adverse effects of climate change.
“Bangabandhu asked to build the country through greening and afforestation as well as Self-sufficiency in food. Bangabandhu himself took the initiative to green the coastal areas. Bangabandhu was an environment lover, as a nature lover, he always gave importance to environmental development,” Nasim added.
He further said, when Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina returned to the country in 1981 amidst thousands of adversities, she then gave importance to green to maintain the balance of the country’s environmental issue.
“Sheikh Hasina not only fights for the people of the country, democracy but also fight to create green nature through afforestation to maintain the balance of the environment to live a healthy life,“ he added.
”The Awami League government does politics for the country and its people. We want the people of Bangladesh to live in a well-balanced environment,” the Awami League Joint General Secretary also added.
“Because of this, Awami League leaders and activists are dedicatedly doing politics for the country and its people,” he further said.
Nasim also said, “Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave the right direction and different types of advice to live a healthy life in this COVID-19 situation. Under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the people of Bangladesh are much healthier in this pandemic compared to many developed countries in the world.”
