Twenty-seven environmental organizations have come in solidarity to protect wildlife and forests
The most recent incidence of killing elephants, including other wild animals, raises questions regarding Bangladesh’s forest department. To address the issue, the “Bangladesh Nature Conservation Alliance” has called for a protest to stop the killing of wild animals and destruction of their habitat by deforestation on November 24, 2021. The rally has taken place in front of the gate of the “Forest Department of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh” in Agargaon, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The ‘Bangladesh Nature Conservation Alliance’ consists of seven environment-centric organizations, and they further call for support from other organizations and stakeholders to make their demand count.
