Forests are being created in Saudi Arabia to play a role in climate
The Juniper tree, also known as the “Tree Lady,” has gained popularity for its captivating allure. This tree has become quite important in creating afforestation in Saudi Arabia. Because the tree is playing an important role in protecting the terrestrial ecosystem.
Through the tree, different regions of Saudi Arabia are covered with green. The Saudi Press Agency reported in a report that the tree has played a significant role in Al Baha and Asir areas of Taif province.
The country’s National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification – juniper trees – is taking care of the importance of protecting natural resources and greening desert areas.
The organization is giving guidance in various directions to spread juniper in the villages of Al Hada and Al Safa in the holy city of Makkah.

He said, in Saudi Arabia’s plan to plant 10 billion trees for green forestry, juniper can be an ideal tree.
Plant expert Dr. Saleh Al Sayel said that juniper plantation in Sarawat district will play a significant role in the local climate by creating a green revolution.
