The Government has taken various initiatives to protect the Environment- State Minister of Bangladesh
Professor Dr. Shamsul Alam, State Minister of Bangladesh, said, “Delta Plan 2100 is a far-sighted decision of the current government to protect the environment.
He said this at the 10th-anniversary function of Noakhali University of Science and Technology. Various activities have been organized throughout the day, such as rallies, discussion meetings, tree planting programs, environmental exhibitions, awarding of environmental medals, unwrapping of magazines, and pleasant cultural programs.
The State Minister said, “The government has taken various initiatives to protect the environment, including implementing Bangladesh Vision 2041.
Bangladesh has come a long way in women’s empowerment and gender equality. We are moving forward in all economic and social indicators. Bangladesh ranks first in South Asia in terms of per capita income.”
“Other economic indicators are also ahead of other countries in South Asia, made possible by the Prime Minister’s well-planned vision. Besides, the Padma Bridge symbolizes our self-determination,” he added.
