A cycle rally was held at Dhaka University on the occasion of International Youth Day.

A cycle rally promoting cycling’s benefits and environmental awareness among youth was held in the Dhaka University area. The event, organized by the “Dhaka University Cycling Club,” was themed “Cycling for Physical and Mental Peace.” News Press Release.
The importance and significance of the day are highlighted by organizing discussions, exhibitions, seminars, and symposiums on this day with due dignity in Bangladesh and different countries of the world.
This year’s National and International Youth Day theme from the Bangladesh Ministry of Youth and Sports climate change and raising awareness among young people.
Therefore, Aminul Islam Tubbus, President of the Bangladesh Cycle Lane Implementation Council, highlighted the importance of strong leadership in developing youth talent during the meeting.
He highlighted cycling’s physical benefits, its role in reducing mental stress, promoting health, and helping the environment. He thanked the organizers for organizing the bicycle rally.
Prosenjit Dev Partha, Senior Vice President of the University Cycling Club, emphasized on International Youth Day the importance of promoting cycling for environmental protection and youth health. He also highlighted the need for separate bicycle lanes to ensure the safety of cyclists at DU.
Attendees included Dhaka University Cycling Club Vice President Sumaiya Akhter, Vice President Saeed Mahmud, Rokeya Hall Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal convener Sraboni Akhter, and DU Cycling Club Office Secretary Md Solaiman, Morning Riders Md. Arman and representatives from the Dhaka Hazaribagh Cycling Club, Narayanganj Cycle Community, national honor organizations, and students from various Dhaka University halls.
