An alert has already been issued by the Horticulture Department of Kashmir. It has warned the owners and workers of various orchards, including apples and walnuts in Kashmir.
It has been informed what measures should be taken this summer to save the garden. It has been asked to water the garden immediately if there is a watering facility. The warning said to take measures to maintain moisture at the base of the tree.
According to government officials, the beautiful region of Kashmir experienced a refreshing rainfall last March and April. Then it didn’t rain any more.
Plants need water for this. Apple trees need the most water. So, the apple will not be good without water. The production of apples will also see a decrease. Insect infestation is also feared in dry fruits.

Due to the scorching heat wave, there is a significant demand for summer vacations in schools in Kashmir. The government has decided that schools will remain closed for the next two days up to class V.
