When I started my new job at Rashtriya Guest House Jamuna, there was bottled water everywhere.
A half-liter plastic bottle was seen on every dining table. Plastic bottles were being used in Jamuna, Chief Adviser’s office. But today there were ceramic jugs and glasses of water on the table at the weekly advisory council meeting.’
He also wrote, ‘Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan took this initiative and asked cabinet members to stop using plastic bottles.’
He further said,”Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus approved it and now the Jamuna can effectively be called a plastic bottle free zone.”
