95K KM of power lines damaged due to Cyclone Bulbul:

A cyclone Bulbul was hit by over 95 Thousand kilometers of power lines in 21 coastal areas. Due to the trees falling on the power lines 50 Lac customers are currently live without electricity. The rural Electrification Board told yesterday.

Besides Rural Electrification Board said that all lines would be operational by Tuesday.

Cyclone Bulbul hit the Bangladesh part of Sundarbans on Sunday. Bulbul firstly felt on Bangabandhu Island, Hiron Point, Dublar Char, Meher Ali Char, Officekilla, Majher Char, Alor Kol and on Maran Char. For this reason, the temporary dry fish Palli was destroyed at Dublar Char.

Earlier, the storm started at 12 noon on the coast of the Bay of Bengal but at 7 pm, this Cyclone hit the Satkhira, Khulna and Bagerhat and some parts of the Sundarbans. At the same time, the height of the water rises from 4 to 5 feet. Winds began to blow at 120 km / h. Over time, the intensity of the storm gradually increases.
