Record of the hottest day in Australia, there will be extremely hot conditions next week
The hottest day of Australia was recorded yesterday Wednesday (18 December 2019). Yesterday the average temperature of the country was recorded at 40.9 °C. The BBC reported from the country’s weather office sources. It was reported that on 7 January 2013, the highest average temperature of the country was recorded at 40.3 °C.
However, the highest temperature recorded in the country so far is 50.7 °C. The temperature was recorded on 2 January 1960 in a thinly populated town, Oodnadatta of South Australia.
Australia has been in severe drought and forest fire disaster for some time. The weather forecast says there will be extremely hot conditions in Australia next week.
