Dinajpur District Police Planned to Plant One Lakh Saplings of Trees

On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a tree-planting program has inaugurated at the initiative of District Police Dinajpur with the slogan “The police will be of the people is the promise of Mujib-100th year.” The Green tree-clean environment represents Bangabandhu’s Bangladesh.

As part of this, Chief Guest Superintendent of Police Mohammad Anwar Hossain BPM planted a Krishnacura tree (Royal Poinciana) sapling in the field adjacent to Dinajpur Police Line Mosque on Thursday morning.

On the occasion of Bangabandhu’s birth anniversary, 1 lakh saplings will plant in 13 Upazilas of the district at the initiative of Dinajpur police to continue Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s tree planting program.



After the tree planting, the imam of the police line Jame Mosque, Maulana Mo. Jamaluddin conducted a special prayer.

Mominul Karim, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime), Sujan Kumar Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle), Abdul Wares, Additional Superintendent of Police (Birganj Circle), Hafizul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Mithun Sarkar, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Birampur Circle), RI of Police Lines, officers in charge of 13 police stations along with officers of different levels of district police were present over there.
