Md Shahab Uddin, Minister of Environment, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Bangladesh, said, “The progress of noise pollution control should be visible to the people within the next month.

Therefore, all necessary initiatives have to implement, including taking adequate measures to stop the banned hydraulic horn. “

He was speaking as the chief guest at the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) signing ceremony for the fiscal year 2022-2023, with seven departments and agencies under it at the Ministry’s conference room.

The environment minister further said, “Strict instructions have been given to the officials and employees of his Ministry to make the development of the country’s environment visible as part of the implementation of the national commitment.

Measures will take to restore illegal forest cover and increase the forested land in the country to 24 percent. We have to be sincere in fulfilling the goal of making Bangladesh a developed country by 2041.”

After signing the APA, the Minister presented a one-month basic salary, certificate, and honorary memento to Devmoy Dewan, Deputy Secretary of the MoEFCC, Personal Officer Ruhul Amin, and Office Assistant Hasina Akter, nominated for the Integrity Award in FY 2021-22.
