Raising Public Awareness in Rajshahi and Barind Regions: Special Seminar Held on Combating Desertification and Expanding Tree Plantation

Green Belts and Afforestation Programs: To combat heatwaves and desertification, the creation of extensive green belts across Rajshahi District—using indigenous fruit-bearing and forest tree species—was prioritized. Initiatives were also launched to directly involve local youth and educational institutions in this afforestation drive.
