Earlier, operations were carried out to liberate the river. The rivers around Dhaka were also freed by conducting operations. As the river was recaptured, a new campaign was launched through BIWTA. And today is the second day of that campaign.
For the second day in a row, BIWTA is conducting a campaign against the occupation of rivers around Dhaka. The expedition started from the Hasanabad area of Keraniganj on the banks of Buriganga in the morning.
Today, the dunes at the river site are sold at auction and demolished a few installations and eviction teams. At that time, the executive magistrate said the operation had been conducted here once before.
While most people are aware, some have recaptured the river; the campaign has been conducted again. BIWTA has already set up permanent border pillars in the rescued areas.
