Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was present as the chief guest at the National Export Trophy Award ceremony at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center last Sunday.
She called for the traders to come forward for waste management and environmental protection, in addition, to set upping industries and expanding industries.
The Prime Minister said Bangladesh is not dependent on anyone in the economy. We started with preparations like standing up on our own feet, implementing 90 percent of the project in my own finance.
Sheikh Hasina also said that besides industrial development, the traders need to give importance to the management of various types of wastes such as solid waste and liquid waste in hard waste.
They have to plan from the beginning of the construction of the industrial sector. Then it will be easier to protect the environment. There will be the welfare of the country and the people.
She said, “After the formation of the government, I opened the private sector.” Private sector development leads to the expansion of trade and commerce.
I wanted the private sector to come forward with the government for the development of the country.
Regarding the conservation of rainwater, she added, it is necessary to keep a reservoir in each factory, so that rainwater can be stored.
This water can be used in the event of a fire or an accident. At the same time, we should plant trees widely.
