Alternative sources of environmentally friendly fuel are being explored, algae being one of them. Recently, innovative experiments are underway in Germany to explore the potential of this technology.

A report from Germany reveals that algae is being grown in a bio-reactor within a house in Hamburg, where it pulses around the bubbles. There the algae are producing biomass, from which biogas is obtained. That fuel can keep the house warm in winter for 30 residents of the house.

Martin KERNER is one of the founders of the world’s first ‘Algae House‘ initiative. He is working with his colleagues to further improve the reactor wall. But the whole thing is like a test in real situations.

Martin said, “We are also using the place as a research center. For the sake of research and development, we are testing the best.”

“We can effectively test everything on a larger scale, identify areas for improvement, and find answers to all our questions,” he added.

He further said, “We take immense pride in Martin Carneralgy House. This plant not only produces heat and biogas. Through a special system, waste water can be reused instead of being wasted.”

“We recycle household waste water and produce methane gas in the process,” says Martin Kerner. Can be used again in a bio reactor along with water and nutrients.
