Inauguration of palm seed planting to prevent lightning and maintain the natural balance

On the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Magura, an organization called Suprabhat Bangladesh has taken up a program of planting 5,000 palm seeds and other trees to prevent lightning and maintain the natural balance.
Advocate Saifuzzaman Shikhar, MP of Magura-1 constituency, inaugurated the program at the premises of the Magura Youth Development Department at 10 am on Tuesday.
Shahidul Islam, deputy director of the district youth development department, Shamim Khan, general secretary of Magura Press Club, Anichur Rahman Khokon, panel chairman of the district council, Sheikh Rezaul Islam, vice chairman of Sadar Upazila, Faruk Reza Jhantu, president of Suprabhat Bangladesh and Khan Shafi Ullah, general secretary were present.
Suprabhat Bangladesh President Farooq Reza Jhantu said, “We have undertaken a program of planting 5,000 palm seeds and trees on both sides of different roads in the district to prevent lightning and maintain the natural balance on the birth centenary of Bangabandhu.” We will continue this initiative to prevent lightning and keep the environment beautiful.
