‘Climate Camp 2025’ is to begin, a golden opportunity for the Climate Changemaker
In Bangladesh, the environmental organization The Earth is going to organize the ‘Climate Camp 2025’ camp. The organization has been organizing Climate Camps in Bangladesh since 2021 in solidarity with the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration 2021-2030.
The chosen theme for Climate Camp 2025 is “Ending Pollution.”
Entrepreneurs, innovators or young people who are interested in working with the environment can participate in this event in two ways. First, they can organize a climate camp on a small scale in their own region. The Earth will provide necessary training, advice, and help in promotion for this initiative. Entrepreneurs, innovators, and young people can take initiatives to address environmental issues through their work or innovations.
Entrepreneurs focused on environmental initiatives are often referred to as ClimatePreneur. Selected ClimatePreneur, i.e. entrepreneurs, innovators, or young people, will have the opportunity to receive training and investment at this event. ClimatePreneur with ideas on environmental and climate issues can take advantage of this opportunity.
The The Earth reports that over 1500 young people have been inspired by the climate camp that began in 2021. The organization has supported more than 40 entrepreneurs through training, investment, or promotion. This time, the camp is planned to be organized in eight divisions of Bangladesh.
Shakila Sattar, founder and executive director of The Earth, said, “While organizing the climate camp, we saw how small initiatives can play a role in building a sustainable, environmentally friendly Bangladesh together. We are trying to inspire a generation to protect the environment.”
Registration for Climate Camp 2025 will continue until May 10, and the application link for registration is as follows:
