International Disaster Mitigation Day celebrated in Laksam, Cumilla, Bangladesh

International Disaster Mitigation Day has celebrated in Laksham, Comilla, with the slogan

‘Development will ensure good governance by reducing disaster risk.’

On this occasion, a procession, discussion meeting, and photo exhibition were organized by the Upazila administration at Laksam Upazila Parishad Auditorium on Tuesday (October 13) morning.

AKM Saiful Alam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), presided over the function, and Debesh Chandra Das, Upazila Project Implementation Officer, was the guest of honor at the function.

Prof Abul Khair, Mayor of Laksam Municipality, Sharif Majumdar, BRDB officer, Novel Chandra Das, social service officer, Jannatul Baki, statistics officer, Shahjahan Mia, Cooperative Officer, fire service station officer and officials of various government departments participated in that function.
