Typhoon dead toll 28 in the Philippines
Twenty-one people were killed in a typhoon named ‘ Phanfone ‘ in the Philippines. But so far the death toll has risen to 28. According to the country’s disaster management authorities, the death toll may rise. The information was reported by the International media on Thursday (December 25), which has said by the country’s disaster management authority. The Philippines is a country in Southeast Asia.
Earlier on Tuesday (December 23rd), Typhoon Phanfone was the first to hit the Philippines’ eastern province of Summer. The typhoon also hit heavy rains and tides during the storm, taking 195 km. of wind per hour.
Meanwhile, the National Disaster Mitigation Management Council says there have been 12 missings since after the typhoon. Officials say several people are believed to have died under the trees due to severe storms. While some of them died due to lightning or drowning. This year (2019), till now the typhoon struck seven times in the Philippines.
