The art exhibition of various mediums on endangered environment and surroundings at Chitrabhasha Gallery in Khulshi, Chattogram, will raise questions among the visitors.

It is impossible to avoid the effects of the changing climate even with the eyes closed; this effort of the artists overwhelms the audience with such a feeling.

The exhibition started with the slogan ”Endangered water, soil, air, fire, whole world”. It was a three-day-long exhibition.

Jaya Barua, Fazle Rabbi, Nusrat Shaon, Roni Jabali, Rajib Dutt, Pankaj Chowdhury, Asma Bithi, Russell Chowdhury, Tanbir Sarwar, Debashish Majumder, and Moinul Alam have taken part in this exhibition jointly at Chitrabhasha Gallery and art organization Ekanna Yoga.

These 11 artists have worked in photography, video, installation, painting, and word art. Dead tree trunks, plastic, polythene, and other indigestible materials lying on Cox’s Bazar beach have been used in their works of art.

The main premise of the exhibition is climate change. They took part in a multimedia art camp held in Cox’s Bazar from February 10 to 18.

They have taken intensive lessons on the relationship between the biodiversity of the beach and the sea. Moreover, collectors from Sea beach have decorated this exhibition with various elements.

Sculptor Alok Roy said, ”Artists can make us think. We see the presence of politicians in the international arena on environmental protection, but they are not seen on the ground. If we want to change, we have to get on the field. ”

On behalf of Ekanna Yoga, Pankaj Chowdhury said, ”At the beginning of the exhibition, we did an art camp in Cox’s Bazar.

There presented many works of art on a large scale. Here several paintings have been omitted in the short range. This event is for sharing experiences with the visitors of Chattogram.”
