Kuakata Beach unveils itself for Tourist

After a three-and-a-half-month shutdown by the Patuakhali district administration to control and deal with the Corona situation, all services, including Beach (Kuakata) and Hotels and other Tourist’s spots are going to be open for the tourists from July 1.

Md. Matiul Islam Chowdhury, Deputy Commissioner of Patuakhali, has permitted the Kuakata Hotel-Motel Owners Association to open all tourism services, including Hotels & Motels, following the conditional health rules.

The Deputy Commissioner said, “All tourism businesses, including Kuakata Hotel-Motel, will be open from July 1 as per the conditions given in the last notification issued by the government.

We hope everyone will abide by the hygiene rules.” He also called upon all to cooperate in controlling and dealing with the Corona situation.

Meanwhile, a three-day training has been organized by the Bangladesh Tourism Board and Hotel-Motel Owners Association in collaboration with the Hotel Owners and Employees to protect tourists’ health.

It may be mentioned that the district administration has banned the entry and movement of the public in the Kuakata tourist center from March 17, 2020.
