Scientists claims as a warning that the number of wildlife has dropped by more than two-thirds in 50 years
The number of wildlife has dropped by more than two-thirds in the last 50 years. A report by the Wildlife Conservation Group World Wildlife Fund (WWF) claims so. It also said there was no sign of a slowdown in wildlife depletion at an alarming rate.
The report warns that the way people are destroying nature has never been seen before.
The reasons for the decline in wildlife are forest burning, destruction of the marine environment, and destruction of wild areas.
“We’re destroying our world – the place we call home,” said Tania Steele, the company’s chief executive. This is putting our health, safety, and survival in the world at risk.
Now nature is desperately sending us signals, and time is running out.
